The Role

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and knowledge sharing across the development team
• Debug and resolve software defects and performance issues in production and development environments
• Implement automated testing strategies including unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end testing
• Work within agile development methodologies, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems and processes
• Support production deployments and provide technical support for live systems
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing initiatives within the team
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and improve deployment processes
• Ensure all development work adheres to security standards and regulatory requirements

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field
• 3+ years of professional software development experience with object-oriented programming languages
• Strong proficiency in Java, C#, Python, or similar enterprise programming languages
• Experience with web development technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks
• Knowledge of database design and SQL programming for both relational and NoSQL databases
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, and collaborative development workflows
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in team environments
• Understanding of software testing principles and experience with automated testing frameworks

Nice to Have

• Experience in financial services or banking domain with knowledge of regulatory requirements
• Cloud platform experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with API development and integration using REST and GraphQL
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment
• Professional certifications in relevant technologies or project management
