Main Purpose of Job
To ensure that all equipment, plant, building, and services always remain functional to their original state in the safest and most cost-effective way
Responsibilities
- Perform technical jobs within the Locality
- Perform administration duties within the technical function
- Identify and mitigate technical risks within the Locality
- Coordinate work performed by on-site contractors within the Locality
- Maintain client and stakeholder relations within the technical function
Requirements
Essential Education: Grade 10 or equivalent technical vocational qualification
Desired Education: Grade 12
Essential Certification: Driver's license
Desired Certification: Mediclinic Technical Assistant Development Programme
Essential Minimum Experience: 5 years' experience in building maintenance and repair (skilled) or Mediclinic qualified (Mediclinic Technical Assistant Development Programme)
Required Job Skills and Knowledge
- Skills and knowledge of building maintenance issues
- Fault finding and troubleshooting
- Planned maintenance according to set Mediclinic standards
- Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment (e.g. OHS and ISO)
- Ability to read layout plans and diagrams
- Skills and knowledge of general equipment repairs
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
