Information Systems Support Manager (Condition Monitoring)

Position Summary

Position/Task Grade: M16

Area of specialization: Provide cost effective management of the resources and provide specialist skills for the development, implementation and support of new and existing Information Systems developed for Eskom line of business and in support of the Operating Model.

Department: Application Operations

Business Unit: Engineering cluster

Responsibilities

• Provides a high-level consultancy and solution management service for area of expertise.
• Manages, controls and co-ordinates the activities of professional resources.
• Manages the provision of an efficient system application support for current and new system functionality.
• Manages the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and business expectations.
• Monitor that system testing of applications are performed prior to implementation in order to provide effective and customer-based solutions.
• Ensure that training of users on the use of systems are performed.

• 5 years' related experience in the IT Industry / functional specific support area. Management related experience.
