Responsibilities

End-to-End Campaign Leadership & Execution:

Spearhead end-to-end project management for direct marketing campaigns, ensuring seamless execution, strict brand compliance, and maximum audience resonance.
Rally cross-functional teams—including Group IT, Data Analytics, and Data Science—to bring complex, cutting-edge CRM campaigns to life on time and within technical scope.
Champion continuous innovation by designing and running bold A/B testing frameworks and control groups to evaluate bold new creative formats and channel strategies.
Deliver insightful, compelling Post Campaign Analysis (PCA) reports that translate metrics into actionable growth opportunities for key business leaders.

Data Innovation & Audience Optimization:

Unlock the full power of customer data to trigger personalized journeys, boost engagement rates, and drive measurable, bottom-line financial value.
Critically analyze campaign performance to uncover segmentation breakthroughs and elevate the overall PEP customer journey.
Partner directly with data analysts to enhance data quality, ensuring the long-term cleanliness, accuracy, and power of our customer database.

Lifecycle Strategy & Customer Retention:

Own and optimize rich lifecycle customer journeys across key direct channels, including SMS, Email, WhatsApp, and Push Notifications.
Design smart segmentation strategies that deliver tailored, highly relevant communications to specific customer segments at the exact right moment.
Establish rigorous, agile experimentation routines across content, timing, and offers to continuously propel open, click-through, and conversion rates.
Collaborate with the Customer Engagement Lead to create proactive loyalty campaigns and churn-defying initiatives that retain and delight our customers.
Integrate digital marketing tactics to seamlessly connect CRM communications with broader digital and social touchpoints, multiplying overall campaign energy and engagement.

Requirements

3+ years Marketing or related commercial diploma/degree or equivalent (Essential)
3-5+ years in campaign management (Essential)
Retail and loyalty background will be preferred (Preferred)
Digital marketing experience is beneficial (Beneficial / Desirable)
Deep understanding of planning and running retail campaigns
Solid knowledge of managing an omnichannel marketing campaigns calendar
Robust knowledge of customer data legislation, specifically CPA and POPIA
Advanced computer literacy skills, particularly with Google Workspace / Google Suite
